Zaya Gran Reserva 12 Year Rum

Zaya Gran Reserva 12 Year Old Rum is a blend of select Trinidadian rums, each of of which is crafted using virgin sugar cane harvested from the islands. Once the cane is pressed, the remaining juice is fermented with a proprietary strain of yeast before being distilled through a copper still. Following distillation, the rum is matured in medium-charred, white oak casks for a minimum of twelve years.

Tasting Notes

Zaya Gran Reserva Rum has an aroma of smoked bananas, vanilla and baking spices. The aroma gives way to hints of mocha, dried fruits, nutmeg and maple syrup, which are well-balanced by notes of cinnamon, butterscotch and smoke. The finish is long and deep, and ends with a touch of caramel.
