Wemyss The Hive 8 Year Blended Malt Scotch Whisky 

This is a tasty blend of malt Whiskies that have been married to create a waxy, honey sweet character. Thus the name “Hive.” The blend includes a range of ages — from 8 to 10 years old. There are 16 different Speyside malts used in creating this dram. Smooth, complex, with a full mouth-coating texture. It's a contender for our favorite blended Scotch of the year.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Malty and nutty with a precise oaky character. Toffee. Apples cooked in honey. A sap touch.

Palate: Round and sweet with a bitter oak note. At mid-palate, oak revails. Drying on ground ginger.
