The Exceptional Blend

The Exceptional Blend is a blend of aged grain whiskies from North British, Strathclyde, and Cameron Bridge combined with carefully selected barrels of malt from Glenfarclas, Ben Nevis, Balvenie, Kininvie, Glenfiddich, Alt-a’Bhainne, Auchroisk, Glenallachie, Westport, and a touch of 30-year-old Macallan. The final edition in the Exceptional’s trio of expertly blended Scotch, the Blend builds on The Exceptional Grain and The Exceptional Malt by combining the two, leading to a product with deep and nuanced complexity. 

Tasting Notes

Aroma of nutty Oloroso sherry, toffee brittle, and sage, all the while carried by caramel notes that lead to a palate of honeycomb, white pepper and strawberry. The finish echoes the fruity palate, with a bit of gingerbread and spice for a warm, lasting finish.
