Powers Gold Label Irish Whiskey

Crafted at the Midleton Distillery, Powers Gold Label Irish Whiskey is named after the original Powers Distillery, which was situated on John's Lane in Dublin. The whiskey is made exclusively from malted and unmalted barley, which is triple distilled in traditional Irish fashion (while the whiskey is distilled through both pot stills and column stills, it has a particularly high pot still content). Following distillation, the whiskey is aged in oak barrels for up to seven years before being bottled at 86.4 proof.

Tasting Notes

Powers Gold Label Irish Whiskey has spicy aromas of cinnamon, nutmeg and clove, as well as slight hints of apples and pears. The palate continues with spicy notes of white pepper, toasted oak and vanilla, and leads to a finish accented by rich barley and orchard fruits.
