Middle West’s Award Winning Oloroso Wheat Whiskey is crafted from the finest Ohio-grown wheat and aged for several years in lightly toasted American white oak barrels, where it develops hints of vanilla, nutmeg, and cinnamon. The mature wheat whiskey is then transferred to sun-drenched Oloroso Sherry casks, where it acquires rich, nutty notes of black cherry, dark chocolate, and raisins. The result is a smooth, complex, high-proof whiskey that embodies the best of both Scottish and American double-casking traditions.
