Bulleit Straight Rye Mash Whiskey

Bulleit Small Batch Rye Whiskey is crafted from a mash of 95% rye grains and 5% malted barley. Much like the bourbon, the grains are fermented with a unique strain of family yeast and distilled through a copper still. Following distillation, the rye is aged for four to seven years in heavily charred, American oak casks.

Bulleit Rye earned the Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and earned a score of 95 points from the Ultimate Spirits Challenge in 2014, which named it the best rye whiskey in the world.

Tasting Notes

Golden honey color, along with an aroma of dark cherries and mellow tobacco. Notes of citrus, buttered bread, cinnamon and spicy oak. Finish is spicy and warming, with a hint of caramel and vanilla.
